Mᵉ Roméus Kébé has a deep commitment to family law and youth protection law.
Mᵉ Roméus Kébé holds a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Juris Doctor from McGill University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of British Columbia (UBC). During her legal studies, she remained actively engaged in the community by founding the Family Law Association of McGill, volunteering with the McGill Legal Clinic and completing a student clerkship at the Court of Québec (Youth Division). She articled at the Montréal Legal Aid Youth Law Office, representing minors in youth protection and youth criminal justice cases.
She regularly pleads before the Court of Québec, representing youth in various matters, including custody and parenting time, parental alienation, travel authorization, and placement in foster families. In the area of family law, Mᵉ Roméus Kébé has contributed to a range of cases, including divorces, changes in custody, choice of school, and private mediation sessions.
